Lazare Kukhalashvili has been living in Ireland and training with the BNP Paribas National Tennis Academy since early 2008. Originally from Tblisi in Georgia, Lazare arrived with a fine tennis record at Junior world level. Previously ranked as high as 36 at Junior World Level, he was a finalist at the Les Petits As in 2005, an event widely considered to be the premier international tournament at U14 level. He is now concentrating on improving his ATP ranking and has been playing professional senior tennis since 2007. Since joining the Squad, Lazare's World Ranking has risen by over 300 positions and he will be working hard on improving this even further. In 2009, Lazare reached the semi-finals of the Georgia F2 Futures and the quarter-finals of the Poland F4 Futures in the men's doubles events. So far in 2010, Lazare has seen success in doubles' events, reaching the quarterfinals at the Great Britain F2 Futures. |

James McGee

James McGee is one of Ireland's brightest young tennis stars, having picked up the National Indoors Senior Men's title two years running in 2007 and 2008. The Castleknock right-hander saw his ATP ranking rise considerably over the second half of 2008, when he decided to play full-time on the professional tennis circuit, jumping by an incredible 500 places in those six months. In 2009, James saw success in men's doubles' events, winning the Great Britain F7 and F16 Futures, while reaching the finals of the Russia F4 Futures. On the singles' front, James reached the semi-finals at the Syria F2, France F13 and Malaysia F16 Futures events. James was a strong member on the 2009 Davis Cup team, as well as the 2010 edition, which defeated Turkey in the first round in March 2010 and played Lithuania in July 2010. In 2010, he has reached the quarterfinals of the mens singles at the Greece F2 Futures,Greece F1 Futures, Morocco F6 Futures, Germany F14 Futures, Germany F13 Futures, Germany F6 Futures and semifinals of the Ireland F1 Futures. James had an impressive season in 2011. He reached the quarterfinals of the mens singles at the France F2 Futures, France F6 Futures, Milan Challenger Qualifying Draw, Istanbul Challenger, and the Spain F36 Futures. He also made it to the semi-finals in the Ireland F1 Futures, Spain F18 Futures, Morocco F5 Futures, and the Ireland F1 Futures and won the Final round in July.

Conor Niland (b. 19/09/1981) Club: Limerick Lawn TC Squad Member Since: 2008 ATP Career High Ranking: 129 (06/12/2010)
Conor Niland is one of Ireland's most experienced senior players currently playing on the professional tour. Cutting his senior tennis teeth at an ITF Futures in 2003, Conor has been playing full-time on the men's circuit since graduating from the University of California, Berkeley in 2006. Conor has tasted several tour titles during his career, winning his first crown in 2005 at a Satellite event in Switzerland. Since 2008, Conor's success has multiplied, reaching his career high ATP Ranking in September 2010. In 2008 he won the Great Britain F7 Futures and the New Delhi Challenger. Conor won a further ITF Futures crown at his hometown club, Limerick Lawn in 2008. Success continued into the next year, winning the USA F28 Futures, as well as reaching the finals in the USA F27 Futures. In 2010, Conor won the Ramat Hasharon Challenger, reached the semi-finals of the Kazan Challenger and the quarter-finals of a number of Challenger tournaments (Rennes Challenger, Beijing Challenger, Saransk Challenger, Penza Challenger, Marburg Challenger, Jersey Challenger) as well as the quarter finals of the mens singles at the Australian Open Qualifiers. In November 2010, he won the Salzburg Indoors in Austria. Conor has also been a fine servant to the Irish Davis Cup team down through the years, beginning in 2000 and has since appeared in over twenty rubbers for Ireland. In 2011 Conor made it to the France F20 quarterfinals and the semi-finals in the France F18 Futures.

Colin O'Brien (b. 17/04/1984) Club: Malahide LTC Squad Member Since: 2008 ATP Career High Ranking: 599 (09/05/2011)
Colin O'Brien has been steadily advancing in the ATP Rankings since 2006, reaching his current high of 604 in early 2010. A Davis Cup debutaunt in 2008, the Malahide native made three apperances throughout the season against Morocco and Ukraine, where he lined up as No.2 player in the team. The left hander recorded a runner-up spot in Salzberg, Austria at an ITF Futures event in 2009 and reached the semi-finals at the Ireland F1 Futures event later that year.Colin is also a highly successful doubles player, reaching the finals at futures events in the Czech Republic, Great Britain and Greece in 2008. In 2009, Colin finished on top at the Great Britain F5, F7 and F9 Futures doubles' events, as well as the Greece F4 Futures. Colin began 2010 strong, reaching the finals in the Bosnia and Herzegovina F2 Futures doubles' event. He went on to win a number of doubles titles at the Latvia F1 Futures, Ireland F1 Futures and Great Britain F6 Futures. In November, he reached the finals of the mens singles at the Greece F4 Futures.

Tristan Farron Mahon (b. 36/05/1987) Club: Claremont RU LTC ATP Career High Ranking: 501 Doubles (01/03/2010), 870 Singles (02/11/2009)
Tristan has been steadily rising in the ATP Doubles Rankings over the past few years, reaching his current high in early 2010. The strong right-hander won futures doubles events in Latvia, Finland and Great Britain in 2009, reaching the finals in Portugal and Great Britain tournaments that year as well.

Daniel Glancy (b. 13/11/1988) Club: Castlebar ATP Career High Ranking: 366 Doubles (14/11/2011), 926 Singles (20/09/2010)
Daniel has been busy competing on the international level for the past several years, both in singles and doubles competitions. On the doubles' side, he reached the semi-finals at the Greece F3 and Iran F8 Futures in 2009, reaching the singles' semi-final at the Greece Futures event that year as well. In 2010, Daniel won the doubles event at the Greece F3 Futures in October. In 2011, Daniel had a very impressive season in doubles competitions. He made it to the semi-finals in the France F19 Futures, Great Britain F15 Futures, Great Britain F14 Futures, Ireland F1 Futures, and the Turkey F16 Futures. Daniel also made it to the final round in the Loughborough Challenger, Great Britain F13 Futures, Turkey F19 Futures, France F6 Futures, Portugal F3 Futures, and won the final round in the Finland F3 Futures.

Sam Barry (b. 27/01/1992) Club: Limerick LTC ATP Career High Ranking: 401 Doubles (14/11/2011), 726 Singles (14/11/2011)
Sam Barry has got off to a flying start in his pro career qualifying and reaching the quarterfinals of the mens singles at the Italy F29 Futures in October. Eighteen-year-old Barry started out the year qualifying for the second round of the Australian Open Juniors, reaching the semi finals of the grade one 46th Astrid Bowl Charleroi, Belgian International Junior Championships in March, the first round of Roland Garros Juniors and first round of qualifying at Wimbledon Juniors all while studying for his leaving certificate. During the summer, Sam earned a place in the quarterfinals of the European Junior Championships in Switzerland. His last junior event of the year was the US Open Juniors in September where Sam reached the second round. Since then, Sam has been competing in the Senior Futures Circuit winning his first Futures doubles title in November 2010 at the Greece F4 Futures. Sam has continued his success in doubles challenges in 2011 making it to the final round in the Portugal F3 Futures, Turkey F18 Futures, France F18 Futures, Loughborough Challenger, and winning the final round in the Turkey F17 Futures and the Finland F3 Futures.

Roman Grogan
(b. 10/09/1991)
Roman Grogan joined the senior squad after completing the leaving certificate earlier this year and starting his third level studies at Dublin City University. He competed in the qualifying stages of ITF Futures events in Germany, Dublin and Portugal. Closer to home, in mens singles events, he reached the quarterfinals of the 2010 Wexford Tennis Open, semi finals of the Templeogue Senior Open 2010, semi finals of Co Wicklow LTC Tretorn Open Week 2010 and quarterfinals of 2010 EBS Co Dublin Chips. Roman was also awarded the O'Shee Award in 2010 for Outstanding Irish Junior Male Player of the year 2009.

Amy Bowtell

Amy Bowtell started out 2010 by reaching the finals of the womens singles at the Babolat National Indoor Tennis Championships. She earned her first WTA tour points in 2010 when she qualified for the finals of the $10,000 Chiswick in July. Amy also represented Ireland at Fed Cup in 2009 and 2010. |

James Cluskey
(b. 18/08/1986) ATP Career High Ranking: 283 Doubles (07/11/2011), 801 Singles (05.11.2007) James Cluskey started the year by reaching the semi finals of the mens singles at the Babolat National Indoor Tennis Championships. A graduate of Louisiana State University, he is now competing on the Futures circuit on a full time basis. James has succeeded in winning a number of doubles titles in 2010 at the Israel F3 Futures, Great Britain F6 Futures, Ireland F1 Futures and Latvia F1 Futures as well as representing Ireland in Davis Cup. James has since continued his doubles success in 2011 winning the Switzerland F3 Futures, Israel F6 Futures, and the France F16 Futures. |

John Morrissey

John Morrissey represented Ireland at the Youth Olympic Games in Singapore in 2010 reaching the quarterfinals of the boys singles event. He also competed in the junior tournaments for the Australian Open, Roland Garros, Wimbledon and US Open. On the ITF Futures circuit, John qualified for the second round of the mens singles main draw at the Ireland F1 Futures earning his first ATP points in 2010. |
